Hostal Escala Suites - Madrid

Hostal escala suites exceeded my expectations during my short stay. The renovated rooms werevery comfy and tidy, while the garden with tables made for a great work spot. It was very close to the airport, perfect for my quick trip.

the breakfast selection was quite limited.

Breakfast rather limited.

I appreciated the really convenient location near the airport. The quiet neighborhood. The courtyard provided a lovely spot to relax after a busy day. The staff were friendly and accommodating, which helped ease the check-in process after a bit of confusion. I faced some challenges too. The breakfast was quite limited, just basics like toast and coffee, which left me wanting more variety. Sound insulation wasn't great. I could hear conversations from other rooms and the hallway. Room quality varied. My basement room lacked a window, feel claustrophobic. The bathroom could have used better heating, as it felt quite cold . It's a mixed bag. Some aspects shone while others dimmed the experience.

The total stay was fairly nice during our visit. Truly enjoyed huge double room with cool balcony, felt like we where home. The location was marvellous, relatively close to Parque Juan Carlos I.

Comfortable room, convenient location, the hotel offered free wi-fi in rooms and is only 10 minutes' stroll from Canillejas, making it easy to explore the area.

convenient access to parks and attractions for weekend strolls

during my stay, I loved how easy it was to stroll to nearby parks like the Bunker del Jardin Del Capricho, just a 15-minute walk away, and the vibrant Sculpture of Fingers, only a 20-minute walk from my hotel.

I stayed for 3 nights while exploring Madrid with my daughter. The area was beautiful and vibrant, with birds singing throughout the day. It was easy to reach the metro, just a short walk away. I loved that we were close to attractions and a lovely neighborhood, not too far from Parque Juan Carlos I. our experience was good. I’d highly recommend it if you're traveling with kids.

Friendly and helpful staff.

I struggled with the check-in process since I had to wait for someone to let me in when I arrived. The breakfast was very limited and didn't cater to different dietary preferences, leaving me disappointed. I noticed traces of dirt on the bathroom floor.

The room was spacious and clean. The staff really were great too assist. Breakfast offered a variety of options which was a nice way to start the day.

All good, fulfills its purpose. The friendly staff quickly addressed my requests and the outdoor terrace is a nice touch.

The small double room had a nice balcony that we enjoyed. the facilities in the room were all in good working order and suited our needs. 😊
